"No Stars, Just Talent."
"No Stars, Just Talent."
Since 1997 Sirk has been led by award-winning filmmakers and designers specializing in creating experiences with a cinematic edge. We are the storytellers of the future blending content with technology. Our goal is to create experiences that are inspiring, thought-provoking and entertaining – films, television programs, branded video content, websites, social media campaigns and experiential content.
Sirk specializes in two distinct areas: Original Entertainment and Creative Agency Services. Our talent has years of experience producing theatrical films and television shows. From our award winning feature documentaries The Sopranos Sessions, Severe Clear and Anytown, USA to our critically acclaimed television program The Inside Reel, Sirk has worked with entertainment leaders like Univision, ViX, AMC, PBS, Netflix, Film Movement, DirecTV, Redbox and NBCTelemundo. We have leveraged that experience into creating visual media for brands like Altec Lansing, Konami, Abrams Publishing, Lucasfilm and Hasbro.
You've heard the age old debate about what makes a movie a movie and a film a film. Why can't a given piece of work be both? Certainly Academy Award winners such as The Silence of the Lambs, Forrest Gump, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars are as much films as they are movies. The craft, intelligence and power to move and entertain is why these films earn critical acclaim as well as become global box office sensations. For Sirk, the ability to succeed on these two levels is not only desirable, but essential to what makes us unique. Our success can be seen in our ability to reach a wide audience while entertaining, enlightening, and educating the viewer.
Sirk is growing during a Renaissance in media and we are at the forefront of the amazing changes to come. Not since the advent of sound and the introduction of color have there been such ground breaking and positive development in the world of visual entertainment. Sirk has embraced new technology in the industry, helping it advance while using new tools and efficiencies to tell our stories.
The great philosopher Joseph Campbell was of the opinion that the unpardonable sin was the sin of inadvertence, of not being alert, of being indifferent. There is so much out there, whether it's in books or the day-to-day grind of living, that's ripe for understanding, studying and ultimately incorporating into entertainment. We are the storytellers of the future, the myth-makers for generations to come.
